Location Uløya
Our lodge is situated on the west side of the island of Uløya in Lyngenfjord. The municipality is Nordreisa, and the address is Vest-Uløyveien 485, 9159 Havnnes. Havnnes is the closest town.
At Havnnes (also written Havmnes) there are several historical buildings, and a little shop where you can buy basics and some local products. The price is a bit higher than normal shops. The Giæver family who runs/owns the shop and the surrounding buildings produce stockfish, lutefish and other Norwegian specialties. It normally closes at 16:00 in weekdays, and is closed on Sundays.
There are only about 40 inhabitants living all year around at Havnnes/Vest Uløy. On the other side of the island there is a little town called Uløybukt. The locals are helpful and happy that people are visiting their island.
